| 34248 (Y248 FJN) on service 162, this route was newly extended to Eltham
from Chislehurst, via New Eltham. Routes 160, 161, and 162 all pass this
cross roads. The pub on the corner is known as 'The Bankers Draught', it
used to be a bank. Just around the corner is another pub called 'The Old
Post Office'. The 162 is run by Stagecoach London.

| Responsibility for route 162 Eltham Station - Beckenham Junction passed
to Arriva Kent Thameside on 18 March 2006. However the same buses are still
in use being loaned to Arriva until they recieve new ones. They retain
their Stagecoach numbering with the first 3 being removed. This is
4213 seen at Eltham Station with an Arriva Sticker in the window.
