The Woolwich - Croydon Routes 54 & 75

LT Buses, Route 54. Plumstead Common, Woodman to Selsdon, Farley Road. A long standing route which has a long association with the Woolwich area, and changed little over the years. Plumstead Common being substituted for Woolwich and Woolwich Industrial Estate.

The 54 now no longer serves Selsdon and Croydon, terminating at Elmers End

London Transport Buses, Route 75 West Croydon Station to Woolwich Free Ferry. Another long standing route. At one time the Croydon destination was the Swan And Sugar Loaf at South Croydon. The 75 weas one of the earliest motor buses in the area,  introduced by Thomas Tilling in June 1913.

Now however the 75 now no longer serves Woolwich, terminating at Lewisham bus station.
