LCC Tram Ticket

Ticket for L.C.C. Tramways. 
Services 56, 58, 60, 62, 84. 

These services shared parts of the route with each other. On the back of the ticket can be some of the fare stages used on depot runs. The trams were in service when travelling 'off route' to the depots, through fares to destinations on the usual route could be paid for. 

56. Peckham Rye-Victoria Embankment 

58. Blackwall Tunnel-Victoria Station. 

60. Dulwich Library-City (Southwark) 

62. Blackwall Tunnel- Victoria Embankment (Savoy Street) 

84. Peckham Rye-Victoria Embankment 

The 185 bus replaced the 58 tram. and the 184 bus replaced the 84 tram in 1952.

 In 1932 the routes were as follows.

56 - 84 Peckham Rye-Victoria Embankment. via East Dulwich, Dog Kennel Hill, Denmark Hill, Camberwell Green, Walworth Road, & Elephant, . (56 via Westminster. 84 via Blackfriars). Fares: single 4d. return 6d. journey time 39 minutes. 

58 Blackwall Tunnel - Victoria Station. via South Street, Lewisham Road, Catford, Forest Hill, Lordship Lane, Dog Kennel Hill, Denmark Hill, Camberwell Green, Kennington and Vauxhall Bridge.  Fares: single 5d. return 8d. journey time 75 minutes. 

60. Dulwich - City (Southwark). via Dog Kennel Hill, Denmark Hill, Camberwell Green, Walworth Road, & Elephant.
Fares: single 4d. return 6d. journey time 34 minutes.
(A number 60 tram also ran, North Finchley - Paddington.) 

62. Blackwall Tunnel - Savoy Street. via South Street, Lewisham Road, Catford, Forest Hill, Lordship Lane, Denmark Hill, Camberwell Green, Walworth Road, Elephant & Castle, and Westminster Bridge. Fares: single 5d. return 8d.
journey time 78 minutes. (a Number 62 tram also ran, Sudbury - Paddington)
