Route 161a running into AW
| RT 196. HLW 183. on route 161a. seen on the new Plumstead Bridge which
was built to accommodate the widening of Plumstead Road. The normal route
of the 161a was Petts Wood to Woolwich, with extensions to Charlton. In
those far off days however garage runs were done in service. It was possible
to get a through fare from the normal line of route to the route to the
Garage. In this case Abbey Wood.
