RT 1021. JXN 49 in Greenline livery, standing in Picardy Street. This was the original road, evidence can be seen in the ex trolleybus traction standard still standing complete with replacement lamp. The dual cariageway was built later. Red central area routes 229 and 132 passed on the main road, these replaced the 698 trolleybus. Now this road and one lane each way of the mailn road is packed with parked cars.
