Vegetarian Fast Food Facts - UK Specific - PAGE 1
For worldwide vegetarian fast food data, please click here Most fast-food restaurants now offer vegetarian options on their menus. However, they may not be marked as such. The fact is that unfortunately, Vegetarian specific food doesn't sell as well as the common beef burgers, chicken nuggets etc. However, the situation is improving immensely. If anybody lives in a country other than the UK we will be most grateful if you contact us and explain the vegetarian options available to you. KFC used to sell what they called a Vegetarian Twister which was wrapped in a tortilla and was exceptionally nice. However, it turned out hat this wasn't actually suitable for Vegetarians and was therefore dropped from the menu. Click [here] for more information.
McDonald's	Visit official site
McDonald's vegetarian options vary from store to store. Some stores have the Veggie Deluxe, which is a normal vegetarian burger but will not be on the menus - ask for it by name. The Toasted Deli Sandwiches are also usually available - again, the vegetarian option varies. Also available are salads. Vegetarians can choose the Garden Salad instead of fries. Extensive vegetarian and allergy lists are available on their website. No kid's vegetarian options are yet available.

Burger King have successfully had vegetarian products for some time now. Vegetarians have two options to choose from. There is the Veggie Burger (which is approved by the vegetarian society) and the Bean Burger. Also available are salads very similar to McDonalds (but I believe Burger King were the first to introduce them). Extensive vegetarian and allergy lists are available on their website. A kid's vegetarian option IS available which is similar to the adults burger, but doesn't have mayonnaise or salad.
